Twitch Prime comes with Tyrande Whisperwind free!

So, there has been a fair amount of confusion over obtaining this new Hero, so let’s try to clear that up here.

This will not cost you any money if done properly. The idea is that, if your twitch.tv account is linked to your battlenet account, and you have twitch prime, the Hero will unlock automatically. Twitch Prime, a benefit that usually requires a paid subscription, can be gotten for free if you are an Amazon Prime member. If you are not an Amazon Prime member, you may redeem a 30-day free trial here. From there, this handy guide will walk you through the process of linking your accounts and obtaining the Hero, free of charge.

There are, of course, some hiccups that may occur. If, say, you have already redeemed your 30-day free Amazon Prime trial, this option is unavailable to you. Or, say you are in a region where Amazon Prime is not supported, this can also inhibit you. However, Blizzard has mentioned that they are working on alternative methods of acquiring the Hero, so, please, don’t go and buy one off eBay. Almost 30 Tyrande codes have been sold through it already – don’t waste the money unless you are really desperate for the reskin.

Either way, this marks a cute partnership among Amazon, Twitch and Blizzard/Battlenet, primarily announced at twitch con. Be sure to pick up your free Hero while you can, and if this option is unavailable to you, be patient! More options will come eventually.
